Ingredients 100 g Riso Scotti Bob cu Bob Round Grain Rice 500 ml fresh milk, or as much as necessary 5 tablespoons of white sugar A pinch of salt Sour cherries jam 1 roll of cinnamon 1 crunchy apple, peeled, sliced 1-2 tablespoons of brown sugar
Instructions Bring the milk to boil, together with the white sugar, salt and cinnamon; then add the rice and stir once. After this mixture starts boiling, lower the heat and continue cooking slowly, stirring occasionally, until the rice is ready and the liquid has been completely absorbed. If necessary, add more milk. Meanwhile, pass the apple slices through the brown sugar. Put a small pan on medium heat and leave it for 2 minutes. Lower the temperature and add the apple slices. Cook them for a few minutes on each side, to get softer. Do not increase the temperature; you do not want the sugar to caramelize too fast and form a crust. Remove the cinnamon from the rice and serve it garnished with apple slices and sour cherries. Pour some jam syrup around the rice. You can serve it either hot or cold.
